The McGraw-Hill Companies may grant a job-guaranteed, unpaid leave of absence to employees who are not covered under the FMLA or other leave laws (such as employees with less than one year of service), as well as for reasons not covered under such laws. The maximum amount of unpaid leave, including any period of disability is generally six months in a twelve month period.
