Filing Claims
WageWorks® provides two ways to pay for your dependent care expenses:
  • Pay My Provider—You can input the amount and when the payment should be made and WageWorks will write a check directly from your Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. With this payment option, there is no need to file a claim form.
  • Pay Me Back—This is a more traditional arrangement where you pay the expense yourself and get reimbursed from your account. Be sure to keep your receipt or invoice and submit it along with the WageWorks claim form.
The plan reimburses you with money available in your account, up to your account balance at the time you submit a claim. If there isn't enough money in your account to cover your expenses, the excess expenses are carried over until you have sufficient funds in your account during that calendar year. You have until March 31 to submit claims for eligible dependent care expenses incurred through December 31 of the previous year.
Claim forms are available:
  • on the Human Resources Portal of The McGraw-Hill Companies Intranet,
  • from the Forms page,and
  • from WageWorks at 1-877-924-3967.
